Recently, the Center for Chinese Social Sciences Research and Assessment of Nanjing University updated the CSSCI (2021-2022) catalogue, and Contemporary Accounting Review was selected into the catalogue of the collection again.
CSSCI (2021-2022) collection certificate
Contemporary Accounting Review, sponsored by Center for Accounting Studies of Xiamen University and co-sponsored by the department of accounting of the School of Management of Xiamen University and the Institute for Financial & Accounting Studies of Xiamen University, was officially launched in 2008, one volume and two issues a year, and expanded into a quarterly journal in 2018. The editorial board and advisory board of the journal have brought together the academic leaders of accounting discipline from well-known universities at home and abroad.
The journal mainly publishes the original research results in accounting, auditing, finance and related fields based on China's institutional environment and characteristics, and encourages the exploration and refinement of general economic theoretical laws based on the reform and development practice in related fields, so as to enhance the understanding of China's socio-economic operation and generate accounting knowledge based on China's institutional situation. This collection hopes to provide a platform for China's accounting research to "local problems, scientific narration, stir up ideas and condense wisdom", strive to launch and support the original achievements of new academic talents, and promote the formation of accounting research with Chinese style.
Contemporary Accounting Review has been selected into CSSCI collection for the first time since 2014, and its influence has been expanding. The reselection of CSSCI collection (2021-2022) is one of the symbols of recognition of cutting-edge academic standards in the field of accounting in China.
