Besides the courses given in their home departments, the students are allowed to select any course available in other departments, schools and university. As for the amount of elective courses, the students are supposed to select courses according to the requests made by their home universities as well as their study plans and individual interest.
l Time for course selection
Applications for all kind of elective courses are accepted in the beginning of every new semester. The students can get more information with the help of officers in International Affairs Office, School of Management.
As for course registration, the students are supposed to log in the electronic selection system with their own account numbers. It is only accessible in the very beginning of the new semester, the first semester to study in Xiamen University.

As for those of one-year exchange programs, the electronic registration is accessible in the end of the first semester as well as the beginning of the second semester. For those who failed to select courses in the assigned duration may be given a final chance, going to the teaching secretary’s Office and talking to the officer to have your name registered. l Transcript
The students will acquire credits once passing the examination. Transcripts will be sent to appointed offices of their home university within 3 months after the study or exchange program finishes. The students are supposed to assist the collection of their records before leaving China as guided below.

ü Contact us ASAP if there is any flaw or typo on the transcript after receiving it.
